Villages NW Envisioning My Future: Telling Our Stories, Wed, Oct 28, 10:00 am – 2:30 pm, The Lantern, 2828 SE Stephens St, Portland (Between Hawthorne and Division Streets), Hosted by
Villages NW. RSVP for catering purposes by October 22. And let us know if you require vegetarian, vegan or gluten free options. RSVP at https://evite.me/RXzJR6ckHw. Village representatives will talk about their Village writing or oral storytelling programs. Your stories may be cathartic or a celebration of family memories. Any modality you choose will be a welcome part of this engaging day as we learn about written and oral storytelling and why it is meaningful both to you and to those with whom you choose to tell your story. Please check for traffic delays due to I-5 construction, which is supposed to be finished by then. We encourage carpooling, although there is ample on-site parking. Look for the upper parking area near the big double doors. To carpool, please contact the VWW office at
[email protected] or 503-207-8729.
