Village Without Walls is entirely run by volunteers, not paid staff. We love our volunteers, and they are part of everything we do as a Village! Join a group of truly amazing people and help older adults continue to live independently by becoming a volunteer.

Who We AreWelcome to Village Without Walls! We are part of a national movement of people who are taking control of how and where they age, enabling older adults to live independent, healthy, and purposeful lives with connections to their communities. Our focus is on community members in Hillsboro, Aloha, Forest Grove, and Cornelius. |

What We DoOur members and volunteers enjoy living in the places they call home, coming together for events and celebrations, building new friendships, and supporting each other through the journey of getting older. Loneliness and isolation have been identified as a national epidemic by the US Surgeon General Vivek Murphy. Village Without Walls provides seniors with many opportunities for social interaction by offering a range of events each month to suit diverse interests, from coffees, potlucks and happy hours to discussion groups, games, crafts, a singalong, speakers, training, and fitness activities. We have both in-person and online events, keeping our members connected, safe, and active. |
