Description of the film:  

Lady Bird is a warm, affecting comedy about a high schooler who must navigate a loving but turbulent relationship with her loving, strong-willed and deeply opinionate mother, who is a nurse working to keep her family afloat after her husband loses his job.   A meditation on money, the future never being quite what we wanted it to be.
