Village Without Walls Response to COVID-19 Outbreak

We are monitoring the public health and government mandates and recommendations to keep our Village members and volunteers safe.

Village Without Walls continues to support its members and volunteers, while also considering their safety, during this COVID-19 Outbreak.

Village volunteers are available to provide medical transportation, to pick up and deliver groceries and prescriptions, and help with outside chores for our Members Plus.

  • We will not provide any in-home services at this time due to the danger of passing on the virus.

Please view Actions to Stay Well  which lists some essential precautions and recommendations.  Here is Face Covering Advice from the CDC.

Our
Local Shopping Resources page contains information about grocery stores and pharmacies which provide delivery services.

Check out our Newsletters for helpful info and humorous offerings.

Canceling our usual monthly social events and special activities, because social gatherings can spread the virus, means we are all feeling a little disconnected. We are actively working to come up with alternate ways for our community to connect.

We have initiated a Friday Virtual Happy Hour and Wednesday Coffee Social Hour for our members and volunteers. We are planning other types of activities to keep our Village in touch.
