We always welcome additional volunteers to our Village Support teams.
Village Support teams handle all the day-to-day operations of the Village. Each Village Team has a list of tasks, large and small, that keep things moving. Listed below are the Support teams with their main responsibilities.
Membership: performs home visits, manages member renewals, member relations and evaluates member satisfaction
Volunteers: identifies, recruits and trains volunteers; provides feedback and shows appreciation for volunteer efforts
Volunteer Services: monitors daily service requests from members, Enters member service requests in Club Express, monitors Village email and phones calls and routes emails and phone messages appropriately
Office/Services Team: coordinates mailings, performs administrative tasks, sends cards to donors, members and volunteers, maintains and updates vendor services lists
Activities and Events: polls members for activity interests, plans educational, social, cultural and fitness activities, helps plan annual volunteer and member events
Communication, Marketing &Technology: updates and maintains website, database and Facebook page; sends email communications, produces monthly newsletter, trains on Club Express, plans marketing efforts, provides marketing content for website, print and email
Community/Business Outreach: presents information sessions,
plans community outreach efforts, supports tabling events, attends civic and local business events
develops and implements resource development plan, identifies funding sources, networks with local community organizations to identify potential donors and sponsors
Administration and Finance Team: provides strategic planning, creates and maintains annual budget, tracks Village finances)
